On April 22, 2007 Acuity sponsored the first annual benefit for Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, an organization dedicated to providing free eyecare to underserved populations in developing countries. With the generous support of our friends and patients, the benefit raised over $5,000. These donations, in their entirety, will be used to fund the next VOSH mission.

Acuity NYC will close for two weeks in August allowing Dr. Kanevsky and Doug Dinger to travel to Arequipa, Peru. They will join a team of volunteers and run a five day clinic, providing free eye examinations, donated eyeglasses and cataract surgeries to 500 patients per day.
Your support for our endeavors is wholeheartedly appreciated.
